Teacher's Day

My first Teacher's Day. Quite a unique experience. The kids that normally drive me up the wall became angels on this day. They said they're grateful... thankful... give me gifts... lie blatantly in my face and said that they'll be good students... what's not to like? :P

The girls were absolutely NUTS! Spraying party spayers and shooting party poppers at me... But I got 2 full bags of gifts in return. :P The usual useful red pens, chocolates, and the useless photo frames. It's quite interesting to see what kids perceive as meaningful gifts to adults. One thing stood out is a G2000 short sleeves shirt. Her mom is a teacher in my school and she once asked me why I always wear long sleeves and I answered it's becoz I only got 2 short sleeves. I think she used this day to get her daughter to give me the shirt as a teacher's day gift. Aww.... The girl was excited when she saw me wearing the shirt after the teacher's day holiday. :P Some P1 kids also hugged me... sigh... what to do? *push push*

The parents prepared a great buffet lunch for us, but they also played Hot Potato to SABO the male teachers... Just what are the odds of every male teachers getting the Hot Potato everytime the music stops??? Ah well... all in the name of enjoyment, I guess... OF OTHERS! :|
