I'm Leaving On A Jetplane (ok, so it's a BUS...)

I'll be home in Malaysia from today till the end of Dec. From 3rd Dec onwards, I'll spend a week in Australia with my parents. This means my rarely-updated blog will have even less updates. But rest assured there'll be heaps of photos on this site by the time I come back! :)

To my S'pore pals, my handphone's on auto-roam, so feel free to message if you got anything urgent to tell me.

To my M'sian friends, let's get together sometimes, ya? :)

To my Australian friend, I'll see you very soon.

Au Revoir!

Singapore Idol In Da House!

These 2 days have been insanely tiring. Last Saturday was my school's bazaar day and I'm in charge of the Haunted House(tm). Without mentioning the preparation, the running of the place itself is a beast. I needed to be a ghost, watch my ghost helpers, and the visitors. Parents these days are really a pain in the ass. When we wondered how come some children are so rude and mischievious, the fact is they're the smaller replicas of their bigger, meaner, and downright kiasu screwed-up parents.

If you've been paying attention, u would have known that I hosted Haunted House(tm) last Sat. Then why am I tired for these 2 days?

Anyway, it was 6hrs without rest, food, and piss. And by the time I become half a ghose myself, the Technical Manager came over and told me the principal had decided to extend the Haunted House(tm) for another 2 extra days.

U could hear a pin drop. Or was that a jaw?

Apparently, my principal saw the huge crowd queing for my little venture, and decided to squeeze more cash of my little cash cow. Great, it just happened that the cash cow is attached to me. U squeeze the cow, u squeeze poor old FBJ too. I run the show alone, so 2 more days mean an extra 12hrs without rest, food, and piss. AWESOME!

So, any more detail of the past 2 days would be repetitive, save one. My school ends at 1.30pm on Fri, and guess who's my last visitor? Lo and behold, it's Singapore Idol Top 5, Leandra! She was an old girl from my school, and her cousin still studies here. I have to confess that I'm not a particular fan of hers, but it's still exciting to have a well-known person gracing my humble Haunted House(tm). She was fun to be frightened; all I need to do was walk behind her with a lumious Area 51 alien mask. Hehe... she was such a screamer. The principal must be really pleased with my little creation that she even suggested to Leandra to take a walk on the dark side. :P My kids just gawked at her and mugged her for autographs and photos. Quite pleasant, still young and fun.

To be frank, my Haunted House(tm) was just like Star Wars. It's shabby in reality, but it's saved by great music and sound effects, makes a fortune, and spawns a trilogy (my house lasted 3 days, remember?). I just hope they don't ask me to do it again next year. Remember Star Wars Episode I? Ewwwwww...........
