The world is all worked up over Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and I've watched it! A vast improvement over Episode I (not saying a lot, really) and Episode II (it's ok, but it's nothing much either). Personally, I rank this movie slightly below Episode V (regarded widely as the best Episode in the series). It has the workings of a great movie: it's dark, it's gritty, it has some truly poignant moments, but it also has the world's worst dialogues, period. "How bad is it," you asked? Well, just think of Jar-Jar-Binks-bad. All in all, this should be the only prequel to be made in the first place. Anyone who watched IV, V, and IV can watch III without any knowledge of I and II. In fact, the less they know about those two, the better. :P
In the mean time, enjoy a splinter episode of Star Wars here. :P Chew-Brocolli!

Lord of the Dance!
Long, LONG time no update! This is the killer week, a.k.a. SA week in school. So, here's just a quickie for you all! :P
Went to watch Lord of the Dance on my own last Sat night. Tried asking people to go with me... but since nobody responded, I had to go alone lor...

Read the poster, buddy.
It was quite ok, but mainly because I was comparing it to Riverdance, which I watched abt 4 years ago. That one's scale was bigger (half of Singapore Indoor Stadium) compared to this (Kallang Theatre). The stage also looked cramp with all the stage props squeezed on it. One big disappointment: no fireworks! Argh... that's why I commented to my colleagues that we have gotten the "discounted" version of the show...
Not all was lost for the night, though. I bought a Cat 2 ticket, but the usher told us that we could move to the last four rows of Cat 1 seats! $110 for a seat worth $125! WOOHOO!

Split-second Airbourne!
After the show, I met up with the Vocal Consort gang to hang out at this bar/cafe at Raffles City. It's been a long time since I last saw them (almost as long as I had not been updating this blog :P), and it's great fun. Plus, it didn't hurt to enjoy 1-for-1 offer for Citibank cardmember. Suddenly I'm everyone's best friend! :)

Coffee, Me, or Long Island Ice Tea?

If you think this guy looks strangely satisfied...

... wait till you see these two guys! (What's under your table, man? :P)

Singapore Sling (and a dazed Fang :P)

Das Crew!

Shiny river lights...

The lights are out...
