The trip Home (Part 2): Sydney, Australia

Yo! Welcome to part 2 of my travelogue! Me and my parent departed for Sydney on 3rd Dec. Our group mainly consisted of families, retired couples, and even newly-weds! It's a fairly large group, with 50 of us and only 1 tour guide. His name is Francis, and I think my sister, an English teacher, would probably murder him on the spot if she heard his English. :P His excuse? "If I speak perfect English, then my tourists won't be able to understand me." Huh? WTF?

Anyway, started taking photos from KLIA onwards. Enjoy the photos!

We checked in at the King's Crest hotel in the evening, which I mentioned in one of my previous posts, is right smack in the middle of Sydney's red light district. Quite an eye-opener, I must say. The bouncers would walk all the way across the street to invite you to their "shows" even if you only glanced at them. They don't even care if you're a woman! Anyway, taking photos at such time in such places was most unwise, so no night photos of King's Cross for you all :P

Watch out for Part 3, in which I get in touch with mother nature, along with my mother. :P

The trip Home (Part 1): Selangor, Malaysia

Hi all! This is part 1 of a series of "travelogue" I embarked on during the past 2 weeks or so. In a way, it felt like Bridget Jones' Diary, a trip to strange new places, and from single to being attached. But more on that when we come to later parts when I was in Australia (most wonderful place in the world!).

Before I flew over the Pacific Ocean, I made a quick stop at my hometown. I live in Klang, Selangor. It's a small town where there are more modern facilities compared to the rest of the state. Selangor is the most prosperous state in Malaysia. Today it has the distinction of being the most populated state in Malaysia. The northern area of Selangor includes Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan, which is a more rural area. I rarely go there, so my folks figured it might be neat to tour that area after we drove my nephew to his grandparents' house.

Quick Math: How big is Selangor state?
Ans: It can hold 11 Singapore islands with space to spare.

However, Selangor's population is only 3.75 million, compared to S'pore's 4.35 million.

The moral of the story? POOR LAND DEVELOPMENT.

I'm back! (but not yet...) *HUH?*

Yoz! I'm finally back in M'sia after 7 days away in Australia. I won't be back to S'pore yet till the 19th, though. Will be going to Kuantan with my dad to relax at the beach and watch sea turtles lay eggs if we're lucky.

Spent 2 days in Melbourne during my trip down under, and I had the greatest time of my life there.

I'm in love!

And if you're reading this from Rathdowne, I LOVE YOU, AND I MISS YOU.

Can't wait for June to come!

Greetings from Down Under!

Yo my fellow Bloggerittas! I'm now in King Crest Hotel in Sydney! Believe or not, we're in the heart of Australia's red light district... whoa! Anyway, although it summer here right now, the weather is just like Genting on a clear sunny day. Went to the Sydney Opera house, harbour bridge, Bondi beach, royal botanic garden, the Rocks, the Gap... phew! I'll be going to Blue Mountains tmr and get up close and personal with koala bears and kangaroos.

If this post seem untidy to you, that's becoz the cafe I'm in right now charge by the minutes, so there.... :P My photo collection is staggering now, so you can look forward to that when I come back on the 19th!
