Long Weekend AHOY!

Just realized that my entries are all pretty massive up till this point. Think I better make my entries more "bite-size" so it won't cause you dear readers a mental diarrhea. :P

It'll be a LONG weekend (4 days) this week coz it's National Day here in Singapore. Schools have the benefit of having an extra day of holidays. Oh so many days, so little money...

My parents will be here next week for my graduation ceremony. Booked them The Copthorne Orchid Hotel. Hefty $138+++, but hopefully it'll be a great stay for them. Feel kinda sad coz most of the time during their stay, I'll be either teaching or attending lessons in the morning and have to leave them on their own. Yeah, they did ask me to take leave for that day, but for us teachers, taking a day's leave means a day behind syllabus, and that's BAD BAD BAD, especially when it's so near to CA...

Sidetrack a bit, I noticed that whenever I want to type "HOME" in my SMS, the first word that comes out is always "GOOD"! Sigh, such a coincidence, and yet so right...
